تائوته چینگ

یکی از بهترین کتابهایی رو که تو عمرم دیدم و خوندنش همیشه برام لذتبخش و مسحور کننده بوده تائوته چینگ اثر لاوتزه هست. مثلاً اولین قسمت اونو که میخونین ببنین چقدر شبیه به حکمتهای دیگه س. من اینجا برای فهم بیشتر ترجمه فرشید قهرمانی رو رو بعد از ترجمه هرمز ریاحی و بهزاد برکت و در قسمت انگلیسی هم اول از ترجمه Gia Fu Feng & Jane English و سپس از ترجمه انتشارات HarperCollins با یادداشت Stephen Mitchell استفاده کردم. امیدوارم شما هم لذت ببرید.

دائو را اگر توان گفت، جاودان نیست

نام را اگر توان نامید، جاودان نیست

بی نام، آغاز آسمان و زمین است

نامیده، هزاران هزار را مادر.

بی‌آرزو، راز بیند

آرزومند، فاش

یگانه‌اند این دو نام،

تائویی که بتوان آن را بر زبان آورد
تائوی جاودان نخواهد بود.
نامی که بتوان آن را ذکر کرد
نامی ماندگار نخواهد بود.
آن چه نمی توان برایش نامی نهاد حقیقت جاوید است.
رها از آرزوها می توان اسرار را درک کرد.
در بند آرزو تنها می توان جلوه ها را دید.
اسرار نهان و جلوه ها عیان
هر دو از یک منبع اند.
این منبع را تاریکی نامیده اند.

دروازه ی ورود به دنیای شناخت.

The Tao that can be told is not the

eternal Tao.

The name that can be named is not the

eternal name.

The nameless is the beginning of

heaven and Earth.

The named is the mother of the ten

thousand things.

Ever desireless, one can see the

mystery.

Ever desiring, one sees the

manifestations.

These two spring from the same source

but differ in name; this appears as

darkness.

Darkness within darkness.

The gate to all mystery.

The tao that can be told

is not the eternal Tao.

The name that can be named

is not the eternal Name.

The unnamable is the eternally real.

NAMING is the origin

of all particular things.

Free from DESIRE, you realize the mystery.

Caught in desire, you see only the manifestations.

Yet mystery and manifestations

arise from the same source.

This source is called DARKNESS.

DARKNESS within DARKNESS.

The gateway to all understanding.
